St-Henri is rapidly gentrifying neighbourhood in the southwest borough of Montréal. It carries with it a storied past, and plenty of charm. Originally bearing the nickname "Les Tanneries" after the leather artisan shops in the area, it's now hailed as the Canadian version of Williamsburg, which is a hipster haven just outside of New York City, USA. New restaurants and third wave coffee shops are sprouting up every month on Notre-Dame, which is the neighbourhood's main street.
